Youth in grades 6–12 are invited to join us for a weekend of camp fun and fellowship as we explore not only what it means to be an Episcopalian, but how we share our faith with others.
Learn about the history of the Powhatan confederacy and other Virginia tribes that were not a part of the confederacy. Nellie Adkins and Kevin Brown will discuss the trials of Virginia Indians in the early part of the 20th century.
Wondering what Camp Chanco 2022 will look like this summer!? Come join Chanco’s Live Town Hall #2 Zoom Event. We are thrilled camp will look a little more “normal” this summer and will share what you can expect with COVID safety protocol along with all the fun things to look forward to as a summer camper with us.
A Celebration of Music
Show your support for David Adams and his team of talented musicians who are preparing to make this a wonderful day of songs, sharing, worship and community. We want to fill the forest with our voices.
This retreat will feature incredible food, learning about and tasting various wines made in Virginia (with non-alcoholic options), and lessons from Nellie Adkins about Indigenous foods and history. Food, fun, and fellowship will all be a part of this relaxing, educational, and rejuvenating overnight retreat.
