Meeting Rooms and Conference Spaces
Are you in need of a designated meeting space for your group? We’re delighted to provide one of our various meeting spaces to your group completely free of charge when you book an overnight stay with us. If you are in need of additional meeting spaces, they can be arranged for a small fee, subject to availability. Our dedicated team will make sure your room is set up and ready for your meeting!
Flournoy Hall
Our primary meeting hall with space to accommodate up to 100 guests in the main room. A smaller meeting area is available with couches and lounge chairs, offering a more intimate space for up to 20 guests.

$300 per day
Main room: 30′ X 35′, 100 guest capacity
Study: 24′ X 15′, 20 guest capacity
The River View and Pipsico Bay Rooms
Conveniently located in Lodging Building C and D, both meeting spaces offer a peaceful view overlooking the James River. The River View Room, located in Building D, has a guest capacity of 45, along with a cozy fireplace to warm up the space on cooler nights. The Pipsico Bay Room is located in Building C, and has a guest capacity of 35. Both meeting spaces offer a kitchenette for your group’s needs.

River View Room: $200 per day — 24′ X 48′, 50 guest capacity
Pipsico Bay Room: $200 per day — 24′ X 34′, 40 guest capacity

Spirit Center

Pavilion
This outdoor venue is the largest meeting area available at Chanco and can accommodate up to 300 guests.
*Pricing: $350 per day — 50′ X 100′
Dining Hall
One side of our dining facility can be made available to host receptions or for additional meeting space.
*Pricing: $250 per day (fee waived with reception)

The Bluff
This outdoor venue is the favorite campfire spot, featuring a great view of the James River.

$2,500 flat fee per night
Includes Manor House, Lodging Buildings, Flournoy Hall, Pipsico Bay Room, and River View Room
Amphitheater
An outdoor venue with a breathtaking view of the beach that can accommodate up to 300 guests.
*Pricing: $350 per day (50′ X 100′)
