Social Media Marketing
Marketing Social media is an excellent tool for reaching a large audience while generating awareness and excitement around your campaign. It’s where you can build community, foster a sense of loyalty and connect others to the world of Chanco. How to Use: • Post Templates: Use the pre-designed post templates to craft your posts on social media. You can adapt the content to fit the platform you’re posting on (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter). • Graphics: The images/graphics provided are meant to accompany your posts and catch people’s attention. You can pair these with catchy captions and provided hashtags to increase visibility. • Hashtags: Use the suggested keywords and hashtags to boost your reach on platforms. These are designed to make your posts discoverable by people searching for related content. Best Practices: • Engage: Respond to comments and messages to create a sense of community. • Short and Sweet: Keep social media captions concise and engaging. Highlight key benefits of the camp in a few lines. • Hashtags: Include the relevant hashtags to increase visibility (#ChancoSummerCamp, #CampLife, #SummerCampGoals). • Share User-Generated Content: Encourage others to post their experiences at Chanco’s camps and tag the camp’s social media handles. Re-sharing content can boost credibility. • Emojis: Images grab the reader’s attention! Utilize appropriate and relevant emojis in the subject line and email copy to help keep the reader engaged.
Print Materials
Print materials (like brochures, flyers, posters) are physical promotional tools that can (and should be) shared at events, in schools, or within community spaces to generate awareness and interest around Camp Chanco. How to Use: • Flyers/Posters: Use these materials to catch the eye of potential campers and their families. The provided designs should be printed and displayed in high-traffic areas, such as community centers, local businesses, and schools. • Brochures: Brochures offer more in-depth details and can be handed out at events or shared at community gatherings. They should provide essential camp information such as dates, activities, pricing, and registration instructions. Best Practices: • Distribution: Distribute these materials in places where your target audience (parents, families, etc.) will see them. Think about community centers, schools, grocery stores, or even local businesses where allowed. And don’t forget to share these at Chanco retreats and camp sessions. • Track Interest: Add a call-to-action that encourages the reader to visit the camp’s website or contact for more details.
Email Marketing
Email campaigns are a great way to directly reach and engage with your audience. Emails are a great tool to help build relationships, provide in-depth details, and prompt specific actions such as registration. How to Use: • Email Templates: These templates are pre-written emails designed to be sent to your targeted email list. You can personalize the content with the camper’s name, program details, and other pertinent information. Best Practices: • Personalization: Always personalize the email with the recipient’s name or any other relevant info to make it feel more personal. • Compelling Subject Lines: Use subject lines that grab attention and hint at the value or benefits of the camp. Ex: “Give Your Kids the Summer of a Lifetime at Chanco!” • Clear Call-to-Action: Make sure each email has a clear and actionable next step, such as “Register Now” or “Learn More.” • Emojis: Images grab the reader’s attention! Utilize appropriate and relevant emojis in the subject line and email copy to help keep the reader engaged.
