We invite you to come “Recharge” at Chanco on the James December 15-17, 2018. Recharge is a retreat that is designed to give young adults a chance to take a break from their hectic schedules and relax while being surrounded by God’s beautiful creation. In today’s fast-paced technological world, it can be easy to lose track of how important it is to take time for fellowship and fun. Recharge is the perfect opportunity for young people to take that deep breath and really appreciate the beauty that this world offers. Throughout the weekend there will be several scheduled activities that will focus on enjoying our time together in God’s amazing creation. Friday night will feature a campfire program complete with skits, s’mores, and singing. Saturday, we will begin with a fun and energized scavenger hunt where folks will get a chance to get silly while exploring the beautiful Chanco grounds. Later in the day, we will head out to the ropes course for some fun team building games as well as adventures on our high ropes course and zip lines. Saturday night we will celebrate new friendships and experiences with a Eucharist service, officiated by the amazing Eileen Walsh. Finally, we will continue the celebration after the service with a party! Snacks, carnival games, music, and Settlers of Catan will make for an exciting evening.
